A Message from Marj
What is the way that Deep Love awakens?
For me, it is mysterious and often comes by grace, not effort. It has emerged as a knowing and a destiny. Yet simultaneously, I have also known loss, shock, pain and fear. It can be messy, quite lonely at times and confusing.
If you are like me, you have known many different experiences of love, some ecstatic and filled with joy, yet disappointment can also be part of it. The polarities feel like parallel universes… and they are!
We have all been imprinted by our cultures, families, people and settings in our lives. Our worldviews and awareness have evolved as experiences have given us different perspectives.
How do we find the gifts in our confusion or surprise? Is there a way to honor and co-create beauty from our disappointment? Does healing take us higher and deeper when it feels like dynamics of betrayal, criticism and manipulation have ruptured our feelings of safety and even our perceptions and beliefs about who and what we are?
It takes courage to see clearly the ways we have lost ourselves. Are we willing to let the return to love change our lives, inform our views and the choices we make?
How can we create the nourishment, the honoring and the strength that will support us in returning to the deep love within? How do we find a new foundation for a future?
Is disappointment a possible initiation, a doorway to that future?
I am so looking forward to our call to explore all of this and wish each other a Happy Early Valentine!
